GPCTR0_OUT as digital trigger to start acquisition: how to configure the Start Condition of the CWAI control?

I'm generating a continuous pulse train at CTR0 output, and I want to trigger data acquisition at the rising edge of the pulse.

I want to use the CWAI control of Measurement Studio, therefore the source signal for the trigger in the StartCondition has to be properely set. Do I have to connect any PFI pin (PFI0 for instance) to CTR0 out pin or I can directly use the latter as source signal? If this is the case, what is the name for it (GPCTR0_OUT, ......)?

Hi, if you are using an M series devices you can Generate and Route Digital Pulse Train to Any PFI Line (see M series manual), so in this case you don't have to do any external connection because the name for the GPCTR0_OUT is the PFI line in which you are generating the pulse train. Otherwise if your board it isn't an M series you have to do the external connection. Best regards AmbuA
