Don't know if this is the appropriate board to past at, but here goes:
I just received a copy of NI Vision 8.6.1 and a NI frame grabber (PCI 1422). I have a legacy VB6 project I want to modify to utilize this new hardware/camera system.
The 'install wizard' for NI Vision (IMAQ, IMAQdx, and IMAQ IO) has all sorts of installation tree 'branches' suggesting support of VB and example code, but even after checking EVERY possible folder to 'local install', the resulting system installed has no such code examples. The only thing is header files for C++ (foo.h) and linkable libraries (foo.lib). How come the wizard suggests there should be examples (so does the included documentation) but nothing is actually installed?
Where do I find support for VB6? Does my 'new' version license for NI Vision allow me to use a legacy version, of ???
In other words: what do I need to support VB6 development using this frame grabber?
