cwAIPoint versus cwAI?

If I simply need to sample 3 or 4 different channels (NRSE and Diff) using a E-Series DAQ card, at a sampling rate of approximately once every second, am I better to use the cwAIPoint control, or the cwAI control (set to a short burst and then average (say 10 samples at 1kHz))?

And why?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi MadMax,

I would recommend using the cwAI control and averaging the data, since the averaged value will be more accurate than a single point, however if you are measuring a signal that does not change quickly, it would probably be a bit easier to implement the AI point method. Let me know if you have any other questions!
