Compile old labview code

I have several VIs that I developed in labview 3.1 with the Parker Compumotor Motion Toolbox version of that time (ca. 1995). The code worked well for several projects. The time has come to resurrect some of these old systems (the hardware is all available, believe it or not), but labview 7.1 will not compile the old code. How can I cross the vast oceans of time and bring back some of my beloved (and very useful) old code?
