How to disable following error trip functionality?

Hi,

I'm using LabWindows 7.0, Windows XP, NI Motion 7.0, PCI-7344 card.

I tried two ways to disable following error trip functionality and none of them worked:
1) through MAX to set it to 0
2) call flex_load_follow_err()

I could still get the error and the axes were killed. Could somebody help?
Thanks.

Jason,

I'm not aware of an issue in the NI-Motion driver that could explain this problem. Still I would strongly recommend to upgrade to the latest NI-Motion version (NI-Motion 7.5).

Here is another idea:
Have you used the 1D- or 2D-Interactive tool in MAX after initialization? If so please note, that the following error settings in this tool will override any other following error settings that you have set previously. The following error setting is located on the "Advanced" tab.

I hope this helps,
