Load Reference Paramater.flx - Search Distance

How does the input to the Load Reference Parameter.flx change depending on if the motor is a closed loop stepper or a servo motor?

Other motion VI's behave differently depending on the motor and control mode and feedback, but I could find no information in the documentation if this input (Value) should be Motor Steps or Encoder Counts when using a Closed-Loop stepper axis.

When in stepper mode you always send your move commands in steps not counts. Thus Load Reference Parameter.flx also uses stepss for parameters like "Offset position" or "Search Distance", regradless of the stepper mode.

That makes sense to me, just like all the other motion VIs.  I just wanted to verify since all the other Help files I read explicitely stated what the input was.

Thanks you for verifying.  I dont have the motion card yet (backorder!), or it would have been easy to verify.
