As mentionned in this thread, it would be very useful to try to initialize another MOTION interface with the same settings and on the same computer. If you shouldn't have a spare card, then install the NI drivers on another computer and try to initialize the interface.

This would at least show if the problem comes from the computer/driver/MOTION settings or from the card.

I don't have a spare part, but I install  my controller on another computer and I install NI-DAQmx and NI-motion drivers and every thing from the begining on this other computer, and the same happened, the error message prompted to me.

Are the initializing settings the default settings or did you change them ?

This is what you could do to see if it solves the problem :
  1. Reset the card and test its resources : MAX >> PCI-7340 >> Status tab (right part of the window) >> Test Resources and Reset Device
  2. Restore the card to the factory default settings : MAX >> right-click on PCI-7340 >> Restore Factory Defaults to Controller Defaults

If the problem remains then the chances that the card is defective are great !

May be someone from NI could jump in here....

I really did this, and when I test the resource, it acts correctly and no problem happened, and the led of the controller failure is not illuminated, and also I restore the settings to the factory settings, and the same problem occurs,  don't know what is the problem, also I don't think that this  error can be due to a hardware defect, since I bought this controller from about one year

What do u think?

It is recommended to install the driver and then the card. According to one of your previous messages, you did it the other way. But I would be very surprised if this was the source of the problem. May be something went wrong during an initialization and the firmware is now no longer working.

Unfortunatley, I'm now at the end of my ideas... and I can only recommend you to call NI.

Hi

nimc just stands for National Instruments Motion Controller.  Could you check what version of the firmware you have?  In MAX click on PCI 7340 and then select the Firmware tab.  You mentioned that you have had the card for a year.  Has it been working in the past?  If so did anything change in your set up since the last time you had the card working?  If you could let me know that info perhaps we can find the problem.  But like JB said, if you are seeing the same behavior on two different computers it is very likely that there may be a problem with the hardware.

Regards,
GG
