I have an existing vi-file for control of a piston motion in a ventricular model. When started, the piston will move and pressure and flow inside the model are acquired by a DAQboard. Another computer will fire a laser for PIV-purposes. I want the firing of the laser to be the trigger for the piston motion and data acquisition. To this extend I want to obtain the block waves, generated to fire the laser, to be acquired by the DAQ board. Then the first block wave must serve as the "start button" for the piston motion. Does anyone know what kind of trigger I need and how I can incorporate this in my vi-file?
