If you want to re-flash the current firmware or downgrade to a previous version you should be able to do so in MAX as follows:

1. Open MAX
2. Click on your motion controller device and go to the firmware tab
3. On the right hand side where the older versions of software installed on your host computer are listed, right click on the older versions and select "Download to Device" to download just one file, or "Download All" to send all four files to the device. (See attached screenshot)

Hi Sam,

Ah yes, now I see.  Thanks for pointing that out, but it would be nice if that information was more obvious.  One has to click on the "Updating the Firmware on Your Controller" link in the help panel to find that out.
