6014 control digital potentiometer with SPI interface

I have a PCI-6014 and want to control a digital potentiometer with SPI interface. Is there any way for the 6014 to do the work?

Hi MCP -

It's theoretically possible for you to program your DAQ device for SPI, but it'd be extremely diffcult and limited in functionality.  DAQ devices are designed for generic signal input and output, and any digital communication scheme would have to be manually set up and coded.  You'd be susceptible to software-timed decisions and toggling.

You'd probably be much better off looking into the USB-8451 or one of our R-series devices.
