6281, what is the accuracy in all ranges

Hi

I need to know the range accuracy in all 7 ranges of the 6281 DAQ

According to NI.com the accuracy is given for the max range (+/- 10V) and the min range (+/- 100mV).

Range accuracy(+/- 10V) = 980microV
Range accuracy(+/- 100mV) = 28microV

I can't seem to locate this information about the 5 ranges in between, this is however in a very nice table in the specifications for example for the 6216??

If I calculate this then I need additional information that I can't find either.

HELP, and thanks if you did;)

Hi,

You can use our Accuracy Calculator for calculating the absolute accuracy for all input ranges for NI-6281.

http://www.ni.com/advisor/accuracy/default.htm

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks!

Thank you Dennis

Despite searching like a bloodhound, somehow I missed that nice calculator;)

Another question, if you please.

I have a system in which I need regulate by monitoring 3 voltage levels, 0-100mv, 0-500mv and 0-5V with high accuracy(controlling is through and SPI signal with a 8451 unit), hence the 6281, all it´s other functions, DIO, clocks etc. I don´t need.

I am wondering if it is the best choice or not, do you have any ideas?

thanks again for the earlier answer

Hi,

It depends on what your are measuring and the speed you want to acquire the data. But for high accuracy the PCI-628x serie is the best solution for you. If you don't need analog outputs, you can choose PCI-6280 instead.

Thanks!
