DAQPad 6070E operating at temperatures below 0C

I'm using a DAQPad 6070E and there's a chance it malfunctioned last night during use inside a container that dropped to about -7C.  I saw on the product specs that the DAQPad operating range only goes down to 0C.  Is there a chance the DAQPad crashed?

Hello NNTS,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.

The knowledgebase, Instrument Environmental Altitude and Temperature Specifications (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4C9726BFE0099B388625729E006DF6A2?OpenDocument), goes over how the specifications for operating temperature were derived for National Instruments DAQ devices.  As a result, National Instruments cannot guarantee that the device will operate normally outside of the specified temperature range.  There is a possibility that the DAQPad did malfunction in this operating temperature.  However, there could be other issues that cause the malfunction.  If you could include more details about the malfunction, that would be most helpful.  Did you receive any errors?  If so, was there a number or text associated with the error?

Please post back if you have any questions.

Regards,
