How can I determine if PCI-1409 is receiving the "external trigger" from the IMAQ A6822? Where can I find documentation?

The best way to determine this is to run one of the examples for triggering shipped with the product. Otherwise you could use the IMAQ Trigger Read VI to read the status of a trigger line, make a program that continuously reads the status and apply your triggers to see if the line status changes.
