Is it possible to create an executable without installing DAQmx for my NI6009?

I'm trying to do a stand alone program, for another computer without labview. The main problem is that this application uses the NI 6009 device. I have already installed the LabViewRunTime Engine in the target computer but I cant seem to manage to make the device work. Apparently I need to intall the DAQmx to the target machine as well. But its nonsense to install 800+mb in the target computer to use my 20k program. Is there any way around this?

When you go to My Installer>Additional Installers, select DAQmx and Runtime 5 as the install type. For DAQmx 8.9, this is about 135MB. It's the most minimal install and does not include MAX.

p.s. It's not quite correct to say your application is only 20K. As you have already found out, the application also requires the LabVIEW runtime like all other programs and all hardware requires a driver.
