Issue with NI MAX crashing

Hello, i am having an issue with NI MAX. When i expand the device tree, my DAQ devices do not show (USB 6008 and PCI5922) and Max crashes.  I have attached the error logs and support ZIP.

I am runing an XP machine, Lavbiew 8.6.1 with DAQMx 8.9.5.

I have tried the reset configuration data but the issue is still present.

Hello,

You can try upgrading the version of your DAQmx driver and with it a new installation of MAX.  The latest version of DAQmx compatible with LabVIEW 8.6.1 is DAQmx 9.5.1.  This is the driver needed for the USB 6008.  If the PCI-5922 still does not appear after the upgrade verify that you have NI-Scope 3.0 or above and if the issue still persists with the digitizer you should post on this discussion forum.

Ok, thank you for your response, i will try a DAQMX 9.5.1 install.   I currently have MAX ver 5.3.3, is it possible to force an install of Max that is a previous version?

Update:   I installed DAQmx 9.5.1 only with no Max install and everything works great now.   I can see my 6008/6009 devices and also the PCI5922 without NIMAX crashing.

Thank you!
