NI Elvis Instrument Launcher Error -9313: NI DAQmx is not installed (but it is)

I keep getting this error message, "Error -9313: NI DAQmx is not  installed" whenever launching the Elvis instrument launcher even though NI DAQmx is installed. It works fine on 4 other identical Macs. I'm using LabVIEW v8.5, and I already edited the LabVIEW VI in NI ELVIS:API.llb:ELVIS INST - Find If DAQmx Is Installed.vi so that it looks for the nidaqmxbase-labview85-VIs.pkg file in the Library:Receipts folder as suggested in a different support thread, but it didn't work. Any help?

Here is the link to the thread I mentioned, the suggested solution is at the bottom of the first page:

Hi gspaldin

First of all, I am assuming you are not using ELVIS II because everything works correctly on other computers. What version of DAQmx Base are you using?

When you installed this software, were you sure to install in this order:

1. DAQmx Base

2. ELVIS software

It needs to be installed in that order. My first suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall your DAQmx Base drivers to be sure they are linked correctly to the ELVIS instrument.
