No analog input or output in test panels

Hi,

I am using an NI USB-6251 multifunction DAQ. The self test passes, but when I run test panels I do not get any analog output or input. This worked fine about 1 month ago when it first arrived, but now that we are going to use it, it no longer works. I have wired AO0 to AI0 and in test panels I used sinewave generation from the analog output with AO0 selected and then used continuous sampling mode in analog input with AI0 selected, but instead of the sinewave it is just a continuous value of -0.00866. I have tested the cables and tried every combination of channels and options on the test panels.

Please let me know if I am missing something,

Hi Hannah

This should not be too hard to solve. Please could you take 2 screen shots and post them here for me to see: one of the analogue output test panel when running and one of the analogue input test panel when running. This will eliminate the need for me to keep asking multiple questions about how you have things set up.

We just discovered that it is an issue with the power supply cable. When we use a different power suply cable, it is completely functional.
