No option in MAX to export DAQmx configuration

I recently upgraded to Measurement and Automation Explorer version 4.5.0f0 and DAQmx version 8.80f2, which were bundled with LabVIEW 8.6.1.

After upgrading, MAX no longer gives the option to export anything DAQmx related (devices, channels, tasks).

As you can see here, I do indeed have DAQmx devices as well as some virtual channels and tasks.

And here you can see the second page in the export wizzard after choosing to export the file as an NI Configuration Export File(*.nce).  You can see that there is nothing DAQmx-related to choose from in the tree to the left.

And here is the second page after selecting either an *.ini or *.txt file as the file type.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hi, Jim.

I've experienced this before.  First, I reinstalled my DAQmx driver (not successful).  Then, I acted as if I had a MAX Database Corruption Error and did the appropriate troubleshooting steps (still not successful).  Inevitably, the way that I had solved my issue was to:

1.  Stop my MAX Database.

2.  Completely delete my Data and Last folders in my MAX directory.

3.  Restart my computer.

4.  Restart my MAX Database.

5.  Reconfigure all of my tasks.

Unfortunately, this solution forced me to lose all of my configuration settings for my tasks.  I hope this helps.

Hi, InfiniteNothing.

Did you try any (or all) of the solutions listed in my first post?

I hope you're having a great day!
