PCI-1200 Driver Problem

I'm trying to find the driver for PCI-1200. Does anyone have an idea where I can find it? I have 2 versions of LabView 7.1 & 6.1 installed on my computer. I know version 6.1 does not support PCI-1200! So, I want to use the DAQ Card with LabView 6.1 and I'll appreciate it if anyone can tell me where I can find it. I do have the CD: NI-DAQ software for Windows. But, whenever I try to run/install the driver it doesn't read the card and the card ends up showing on the "Unknown" devices in the Systems tab of control panel. I am using Windows 2000.

Thanks

Hello,

You can download the NI-DAQ driver 6.9.3 which is compatible with your board, your OS and I think it's compatible also with LabVIEW 6i. The link to download this driver is shown below:

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi and thanks for the information..
I've actually tried doing that but still the problem persists. I think it's because I have LabView 7.1 installed with LabView 6.1.
I mean I have the latest drivers (for DAQ etc.) installed for LabView 7.1 and whenever I try to install the drivers for PCI-1200 (for LabView 6.1), they don't get installed or something because of the new version 7.1 drivers. So, in this case, do you think I should un-install version 7.1? Is there another way out of this?

Thanks again.

Allright, I have fixed the problem and now my OS has detected the PCI-1200 and it also shows up in the systems tab in control panel. Now, I am unable to configure the DAQ device because I don't have the configuration utility installed in my computer. Does anyone know where I can download or get it?

Thanks

Hello Deznium,

I'm glad you were able to solve your first problem. Did uninstalling NI-DAQ 7.3 solved the problem? I'm not quite sure about what configuration Utility you are referring to, but maybe the problem is being caused because you didn't uninstall the newest version of the driver before installing the old one. The Configuration Utility I am familiar with is from DAQmxbase...you didn't install this driver by mistake right? Try doing that and please let me know what happens.

Thanks,

It's allright now, I'm able to configure and talk to my DAQ Card with labview. You were right, I had to un-install the new labView drivers etc. with PCI-1200.
Thanks a lot for your support!

regards,
Deznium

I was just curious. Can I still use LabView 7.1 to control DAQ/PCI-1200 with the old version 6.9.3 drivers?

Well, I've got the PCI-1200 configured and it passes all the tests etc. I've also created a new Ananlog input from "Data neighborhood" in the MAX configuration. I am trying to measure AC voltage and by using a function generator to send an AC signal to one of the Analog input pins of the DAQ card and I keep getting both these errors "Error 10007 - Ocurred at AI Group Config." and "Error 10401 - Ocurred at AI Group Config.". I tried re-starting the machine and re-configuring the Analog inputs but the problem persists and I have no clue on how to fix it.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Thanks
