PCI-6036E & BNC-2019: Voltages are the negative of what they should be.

I'm trying to install the PCI-6036E card in conjunction with the BNC-2090 box.

When I use NI-DAQ Measurement & Automation Explorer [MAX] to test the channels, I'm seeing the negatives of the voltages that I ought to see [e.g. -2V instead of +2V].

I've tried just about every possible combination of RSE, NRSE, and DIFF in both hardware and software, and I've tried both traditional NI-DAQ and NI-DAQmx.

Is there some obvious configuration error that would flip voltages like this?

The device and cabling in question have produced properly oriented voltages in the past, so I'm assuming there's just some combination of hardware and software switches I need to throw in order to get these voltages
reversed.

Thanks!

I can't think of any software configuration that would cause this problem. It seems almost as if the BNC connections are swapped if you're reading the negative of the voltages.

Is the outer shield of the BNC connection of the source you're using the common (ground) of the signal?

Also, could you try to use the analog outputs of the 6036E to test the analog inputs? If you could just connect an output to an input via a BNC cable and write a voltage with the analog output, do you still see a negative of the voltage?
