We have been using the PCI-6071E with an SCB-100 connector block for AI/AO/DO operations for some time without problems.
Since a few days, however, we face problems: all analog inputs exhibit reading values at a non-zero value (e.g. 5.7 V). They can be reset to 0 V (with desired precision) when connecting them to the analog card ground. However, after disconnecting they exhibit a very strong drift (tens of mV increase per second). Settings for this reading were RSE. The problem occurs under all of the following conditions: card only without cable/block, card with cable, card with cable+connector block.
So, we headed towards calibration and software. All drivers have been correctly installed according to Windows, no device or other conflicts. Self-test in MAX (V4.4) is OK. However: Self-calibration in MAX fails reporting 'a warning has occurred so the system may be unstable'. Self-calibration fails both with the SCB-100 block connected as well as choosing the option 'none'. However, the warning is not displayed so it's unclear where to look for the problem.
Does this problem ring a bell? What else can we do?
Thanks in advance,
Wolfgang
