Reading multiple thermocouples using NI 6071E DAQ

We currently have a NI 6071E DAQ card. We would like to use this card to read multiple thermocouple inputs with temperatures ranging from 25 deg C to 900 deg C. Approximately 20 inputs are required. Is there some type of conditioning module that will allow this to be possible?

NI offers several options for conditioning thermocouple inputs. For more than 8 thermocouples, the best system is SCXI. An SCXI system consists of a chassis, modules that plug into the chassis, and terminal blocks that provide sensor connectivity. For 20 thermocouples, the best solution would be a 4-slot SCXI chassis (SCXI-1000), a 32-channel thermocouple input module (SCXI-1102), and a terminal block with CJC sensor (SCXI-1303). This system will provide amplification, 2 Hz lowpass filtering, and CJC for each thermocouple channel. The output from the SCXI system cables directly to your E-series DAQ device.
