Recommendation for DAQ card

Hi Guys, 😃

I´m currently developing a project in a gas control, where I need to meassure tempertures and be able to open and close a valves.

My set up are 4 termocouples and 4 relays for switching On and Off this valves..

I was wishing if someone could help me to choose an DAQ card for both things. where it has 4 analog inputs for

thermocouples and 4 digital (5v) outputs for 4 the relays. and preferably be able to use them on the same DAQ card, for PCI o USB. or 

use a DAQ card for input and another for the Output..

Thermocouples are type K..

Hi Luis,

How much current do the relays require? Does the combination of a cDAQ-9174, NI 9211, and NI 9401 sound like it would meet your requirements? You may also want to look into devices that have built-in relays, such as the NI 9481 or PCI-652x.

Hi Luis,

It would be better to get the relay specifications and figure out whether the DIO module can source enough current before making a purchasing decision.
