I am looking for a good book on data acquisition. There are several on Amazon, but the only ones with reviews are about a decade old.
Does anyone have any knowledge of these books?
Introduction to Data Acquisition with LabVIEW
LabVIEW based Advanced Instrumentation Systems
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Looking for test/measurement basics or industry-accepted best practices for making measurements, or something specific to LabVIEW/NI hardware?
Might help to broaden some of your search terms... Keithley has a library of test documentation that's pretty decent... Obviously they push their equipment with it, but the principles are the same regardless of who's instruments you're plugging into.

I am an electronic engineer, so I understand the requirements of data acquisition.
I am looking for LabVIEW-specific education on programming reliable data acquisition applications. I had a terrible time figuring out a repeatable method for acquiring data when triggered (my textbooks did not adequately cover the topic). While my current application works, it is not what I would consider a 'clean' approach (just from looking at it).
