Running out of data with NI6221 analog output and Matlab 2006

Hi, I am using a NI 6221 to generate sinusoidal waveforms (1Hz ~ 150Hz) under Matlab 2006. The output sampling frequency is rather low (between 1kHz and 10kHz). However, it seems that the DAQ sometimes cannot send all the data, some data are missed, and the sinusoidal signal looses its waveform. This generates harmonic components in the output signal and alters all the processing. I tried to configure the output buffer (two numbers) but I am not sure what these two values are. The PC is quite old (Pentim II 450MHz) and I cannot afford to update it right now.

Hi,

We resoved a number of issues like this in later releases.  Your best option is to upgrade to a more recent version of MATLAB.
