USB 6008 :Problem with using 5V output

I am a new user to NI products.

I have a usb 6008 and I want to connect the constant 5v output (pin 31)  to the Vcc leg of a pressure sensor.

My device is connected to the computer but I get no signal from the output. Should I do something to activate the output or is it constant? If so, Why can't I see a signal in the multimeter?

The 5V output of the 6008 has a limited amout of available current.  Make sure your sensor draws less then the 200mA that is spec'd for the 6008.  Also, and I have to ask, do you have the sensor ground tied to the 6008 ground?
