Hello,
I am unable to set the Bridge Configuration of NI 9219 device to any other configuration than the one specified during channel creation time. I am using the DAQmxSetAIBridgeCfg function.
The error that I get does not provide any hints to the issue:
DAQmx Error: NI Platform Services: A selector - usually of an enumerated type -
is inappropriate or out of range. The operation could not be completed as speci
fied.
Channel Name: cDAQ2Mod2/ai0
Task Name: _unnamedTask<0>
Status Code: -50003
Please see the attached C-file that reproduces the issue. Note that I get the error message when I try to read the BridgeCfg after setting it to some value.
* OTHER DETAILS:
* Requires NI 9219 physical hardware.
* Does not reproduce with a simulated device.
* Reseting does not resolve issue.
* Running on 64 bit, Win7 platform.
* NIDAQmx Driver Version: 9.2.3f1.
Thanks!

Hi Manisha,
This is strange indeed. I couldn't replicate the behavior in LabVIEW but I do see that error in CVI. I'll look into this and let you know when I have an update. In the meantime, you should just create your channel with the bridge configuration you plan to use.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for looking into this.
Yes, my current workaround is to recreate the channel. Let me know if you need any other information.

Hi Voon,
There was a known issue found with NI-DAQmx 9.1 where the 9219 didn't properly support the new Bridge measurement types that would cause that error code. This was fixed in NI-DAQmx 9.1.1.
I don't know of any reason why it would happen in NI-DAQmx 9.2.3; I'll investigate further.

I was able to reproduce the original reported issue in NI-DAQmx 9.3. I have filed CAR 299983 to R&D to investigate and fix the issue.
Thanks for reporting this, and I apologize that this wasn't investigated fully the first time.

Hi,
Can you do me a favor? I am doing on the pressure measurement using Labview. I have attached a file with regards to the procedure I did for your review. Can you check whether I am doing it correctly?
Your guidance is much appreciated.
Best regards,
