Where to find 1easyio.llb?

Hi there,

some time ago there was a post about somebody searching for 1easyio.llb.
https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Is-quot-1easyIO-llb-quot-a-National-instuments-LLB/m-p/328072

Now, I  have the same problem (in LV7.1) because I have inherited some old VIs (LV6) asking for this library.

As suggested in that post, I tried to install the traditional DAQ: TDAQ741.zip
from
http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/3DBF3D343476A28F8625709E006A4937

However, after installation I cannot find this LLB in the whole NI folder...
What am I doing wrong? Do I have to install an older TDAQ version?

Thank you for any hints,
Tilman.

Hello Tilman,

Thank you for your post on our webforum. Are there more Labview versions on your pc installed? The library's will be installed in the latest version of Labview. It is possible to copy those directories;

  1. Install Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy)
  2. Restart the system.
  3. Copy the following folders from the latest version of LabVIEW to the folder of the older version of LabVIEW. [LVDIR] indicates the folder of the latest LabVIEW version.
    • [LVDIR]\vi.lib\daq
    • [LVDIR]\examples\daq
    • [LVDIR]\help\lvdaq.chm
    • [LVDIR]\menus\default\daq

You should now be able to use Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) with both versions of LabVIEW.

I hope this helps,

Have a great weekend,

Martijn
