I have PCI-6251 and I want to measure resistance with relays. I add relays to 5th channel - 60 and 26 pinouts. I took example from NI - Cont Acq resistance samples, but the graph shows 701 Ohms all the time. Is it right?

I'm not sure if your value is correct, did you expect to alter the resistance measurement by switching the relays? Could you purchase some resistors to give you a known value to compare to? Could you take the relays out of the system and simply measure resistance to get started?

is it possible to measure resistance only with wires?

I want to measure the resistance using copper wires. I am uing PCI 6251 and CB-68LP and a sponge. I need to know the resistance of the sponge by putting the wires in the sponge to measure its resistance. one end of the wire in the sponge ,the other end of the wire in the CB-68LP. I dont know in which pinouts i have to pin the wires. In the images are the things im using. Is it possible to connect them and to write the program using labView? As I am a beginner with using labView. Thank you and sorry about my questions but I really need help 😞 ..

An easy way to get a wiring diagram is to create a task in MAX. Right click on te device and select Create Task. Select Acquire Signals>Analog Input>Resistance. When the task is created, in the large window on the right side is a tab at the bottom and one is labled 'Connection Diagram'. That will tell you how to wire to the SCB-68.

how can I set the parameters ? for example the iex value and the signal input range ? below i have attahced a print screen so you can see what im working with 🙂 I connected 2 wires like the diagram attached. will the program measure the resistance between the wires?
