i need to supply external handshaking signals(for dacqcard 1200), how should i do that?

i have to do a digital output using a daqcard 1200, this is a 8255 based DIO device which has no onboard clock. I have to supply external signals: how should i do that?

Hello;

The first step is to define the shape of the clock pulses. In case you can use a TTL pulse, with a clock that can be achieved by the 1200 counters, you can use the counters to achieve that goal.

In case you need a pulse train that doesn't match the 1200 counters, I suggest you to go for one of the digital boards of the 653x family.
