need usb 6008 driver!

Hello! I am trying to use a usb 6008 with MAX and I can't find the driver for the 6008 anywhere! I'm not sure if I have the right disc, but when it asks for the driver disc after I plug in the usb I put in the NI-DAQmx 8.8 disc that came with the usb hardware and the driver cannot be found. I've tried having it search online for a solution but that doesn't work either. Does anyone know where I can get the driver for the 6008?

8.8 is old. When did you order the device? What OS are you using? Download the latest.

The device was ordered in June 2010 (according to the box). I'm on Windows Vista Ultimate. Currently downloading NIDAQ940f5 as suggested.

I have the USB 6008 as well, as far as I know it needed no driver, but i also had problems with labview 8.5, when i switched to labview 2011 it worked 100%

I'm currently using LabVIEW 2011 and all I get is a request for the driver disc. The disc I have doesn't seem to work, so I'm not sure what to try next.

Did you download the driver and run it?

Have you got DAQmx as well as Labview 2011? Cos afaik that came with all the drivers you would need.

Ok I downloaded the most recent version of DAQmx like you said and that contained the right driver. Thank you very much!
