Hi Vrinkle,
The maximum output for the PCI-6703 is 10V at 10mA and can supply up to 160mA combined across all analog output channels.

Hi Marcus,
Does that mean that the current compliance is at 10mA? So when I drive 10V across 500 Ohms, the current would remain at 10mA or the card would shut off?
Thanks!

Hi Vrinkle,
The card is able to output a maximum of 10V. While the card is doing voltage generation, regardless of the voltage level, the maximum current the device will be able to generate is 10mA. If you exceed the 10V 10mA specification the card has the potential to supply improper current and voltage signals along with damaging the board because ranges outside of 10V and 10mA are not supported.

Marcus
