what is the interface between the DAQ and the device to trigger?

Hello there,

i would like to trigger an electric valve with 12 volt and 20mA, on and off using DAQ PCI-6036E, I would like to know what add in between the card and the valve to acheive this power.

any sugession will be highly appreciated.

Use 6036 digital output to drive the circuit.

thanks for your reply, from NI SCC-68 I use the digital output, can I know how much the range of the voltage and electric current can be generated from this card through SCC-68?
