Hi there,
Do you mean that you wish to replace the DAQ card itself, or the software driver for your PCI1200?
Also - LabVIEW 8.2 is only supported under Windows 2000 and XP, not NT - are you sure these are the software versions that you have?
Can you clarify your question, and then I'm sure we can help

hai hannah,
Thanks for your reply, precisely i want to to replace DAQ card itself not the software driver. i don't know much about PCI 1200 CARD utilities thats y i wanted to know about it. If i buy USB6008 will it be useful for just gathering data and for measurement purposes. To be precise i am working in interferometry, by capturing fringe patterns using CCD. i want to know if USB6008 works well then i will buy it.i have windows XP and NT. Thanks once again.
bye

Hi Viswanath,
The PCI-1200 is a legacy board which has the following features:
The PCI-1200 is supported by Traditional NI-DAQ 6.9.3 (Legacy) (which will not work with LabVIEW 8.2) which is a different API to NI-DAQmx which most of todays Data Acquisition Boards from NI use.
The USB-6008 does not offer the same kind of feature set as the PCI-1200, but it depends on what you are using it for, the USB-6008 has the following features:
This device is supported by NI-DAQmx, which will work just fine in LabVIEW 8.2.
How are you planning to drive/acquire data using this hardware, what are your signals in terms of voltages, and how quickly do you need to sample the data? In order to say whether or not this product will work, I'd need some more information about what you are trying to do.
Our website recommends a PCI-6221 as a replacement for the PCI-1200 as it offers many of the same features, you can see more infromation on this card here: https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/model.pci-6221.html This product also comes in a USB version - the USB-6221.
I hope this helps
