We use Multisim in several of our courses, often having the students simulate and construct circuits and submit both simulated and measured results. I've tried to find a way to use Multisim to simulate things like AC voltage gain at a list of specific frequencies (those at which they will record measured values). Obviously they can use AC Sweep, but if they generate the results as a graph they have to pick our the specific points on the graph one-by-one and if they generate the results as a table they end up with an excessively long table that requires significant editing to get the relative handful of useful results. Single frequency AC Analysis seems an obvious choice, but if they run that (even in the Batched Analysis mode, which takes a LOT of time to set up), it generates a separate one-line table for each analysis. I've tried the Parameter Analysis, but can't find how to change the source frequency to a list of values. I'm not sure why AC Sweep analysis does not allow for a "List" type of sweep, when that seems to work so well for so many other analyses.
Has anyone ever come up with a practical solution to this sort of problem. I'm trying to make the process as painless as possible for the students and eliminate the need for a lot of "busywork" for them to arrive at a solution.
Thanks.
