Hi,
Another annoying thing that i discovered just this morning.
I have an Ultiboard project with 2 designs in it, in fact two versions of a similar board.
For one board, I was able to export all data including the BOM
For the other, Gerber output was made, no problems...
But the BOM....that is another story.
DRC check was done, only minor errors (parts overlapping but that was necessary...)
So,I select .csv as my output format...
the click the 'export' button, and ..... nothing happens.
No window that asks me in which folder I want to place the BOM...
No PC crasch, nothing slowing down...
maybe the program saved automatically in an unknown folder?... NO, nothing found
Next thing to do: start deleting parts af the design, in order to find a part with a 'problem'
To make it short, in the end, i had nothing, no parts , no tracks, no boardoutline, but I left 1 resistor
otherwise there would not be a BOM at all
sitll no export...
I copied the whole design to another new design in the same project, and yes, finally I could export my BOM
So what went wrong?
Previously, I renamed the designs as 1pole and 2/4pole in the projects tab...
When trying to export the slash between 2/4 gets Ultiboard into problems...
Ty it, have fun...

Hi Johan,
There was an issue with the forward slash in a design name prevent export in older versions. I think the last version that had this problem was 10.0.
If you are using an older version, I can only suggest upgrading to the latest version. If you have a later version, could you post the emptied file that still exhibits the problem? That way, I can see how what you are doing is different from my tests and I can create a defect to fix the issue in a future release.

Hi Garret,
Indeed , I'm using 10.0 on the network computer (on which I make all production data)...
the standalone PC on which I make the designs has the 10.1 version....
I'll have to try that there too....
