Custom pad's thermal relief is in the wrong place

The thermal relief appears to be offset from the pad. Is there a way to align them? Attached is a sample file that shows the issue. Ultiboard is version 10.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jazzjohn,

Your pad is a custom pad made using with two objects placed on top of each other, this looks like it's causing the problem. Create a new custom pad with one object such as rounded rectangle and this should fix the thermal placement problem

The pad I need has to have a round pad on the top (component) layer and a rectangle with rounded ends on the bottom (solder side) layer. The bottom pad has to have an off-center hole. Using the same shape on top and bottom won't work in the application.

I actually tried to make this footpring again and the thermal relief does line up now. However, when the component is rotated to various angles, the thermal relief gets distorted and is not acceptable. So it seems like the first problem is fixed but now there's a new one.

To me it appears to be a bug in the program. Thanks for the response.

Hi Jazzjohn,

I am glad to hear it's working now.  This is a bug and it was fixed at some point, I checked your file in V12 and this is no longer a problem.
