Piecewise file format

Using EWB 10, I tried to import my 'Scope data file.  While apparently successful, when I run the simulation the waveform is flat....completely flat.

My understanding of the format is two columns as follows

TIME, DATA

TIME, DATA

TIME, DATA

TIME, DATA

TIME, DATA

My source frequency is ~2950 Hz and is has about 900 samples in that period.  Is there a time step for this that is too small?  There is nothing in the help file about it.

Hi Gyro,

Please post your data file, I will try it on my machine.

No need.  When Excel saved it, it apparently defaulted to TAB delimited.

Still, the other question is valid:  Is there a timestep for the piecewise source file that is too small?

The time step is generate by the SPICE engine automatically and base on your circuit the step will be different.  When you get a time step too small error, there are things you can do to help the simulation engine out, have a look at this KB and try the steps described in it.

This does not answer the question.  THe question was what is the minimum resolution for the PIECEWISE file?
