Power Plane 3D view wrong

Hello everyone,

I am having a problem with PCB design un ultiboard. I placed a ground plane on copper top. In the standard view, it appears to cover the whole PCB. In 3D preview, it only covers certain areas.... (Please see attached screen shot)

Any idea on how to make the ground plane on the whole PCB?

I'm using Ultiboard 12 student version.

This seems like a bug, but to be able to do anything with it we'd need your file. Are you willing to attach it or maybe send it to us by email?

Sure! There it is...

Meanwhile, I tried to change the power plane copper pattern to something else than "plain copper".. When I do, the 3D view shows the right render.

Hey,

I placed a corrective action request about this issue, but in the meantime yes it seems your work around is the only way to get this to work. For manufacturing, the gerber file should have no issue whatsoever though, seems only the render is wrong.
