Ultiboard: Can't turn off component outline

Solved!
Go to solution

Even when I turn off viewing of all layers except the current, I still see the outline of all the components on the PCB. They are still there when I switch the current layer to some other layer as well and turn off viewing of the previous current layer as well.

I don't remember ever turning on some option to view component outlines and can't see any options for during such a thing as I look at all the different options.

I am using Ultiboard 11.0.2 with Windows 7

Attached is a screen shot of the problem.

Hi Rick,

Did you import your design from DXF?

No, I started it from scratch in Multisim/Ultiboard.

The environmental changes recently were I upgraded to Multisim/Ultiboard 11.0.2 and from Vista to Windows 7

I think this might have been the first time I opened this project since the upgrade.

Hi Rick,

Is it possible for you to post your design file. I would like to take a look at what is causing this issue.

Hi Rick,

The outline on the parts is just showing that they are currently locked. If you right click the outline and select unlock, the outline will go away.
