Hello all,
I have the following question. Is there any way to use older Master Databases in newer versions of Multisim?. For example I'm trying to use the Master Database from Multisim 10 on Multisim 11 but it doesn't work. There are some parts that are in the version 10 of the Master Database that aren't in the version 11 of the Database.
I'm using Multisim 11. I have the original Multisim 10 Master Database file from my old installation. Thanks.

Hi,
It is not possible to use the Master Database of one version of the software in another. The master database has components based on the version that you purchase. It is possible for you to place the components (excluding parametric and animated) on your design in version 10 and open the design in version 11 or 12 and save them to your user database. To save, right-click the component and select save component to database.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Tayyab R,
It would be convenient in the future to point out which parts will be not supported on upcoming versions or at least, try to support all previous supported parts. That way we can keep a healthy environment in case we decide to do a mayor upgrade on all systems.
Thanks.
