function generator duty cycle bug

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi !

I set the function generator to 1kHz, 25%, starting the simulation, its ok, but when I click to the up arrow on the duty cycle to increase it by one percent, the output of the function generator is switched to 100-26 = 74 percent.  And from that point, is working inverted. (ver: 11.0.278 )

Hi

I have just checked it and you're right - I got the same behavior. It seems like a bug in our software. I will contact our developers to see what they think about it. I will let you know if we can do something about it.

Thanks for identifying this!

Solution
Accepted by topic author lidi

Hello

I have just heard back from our developers. The issue has been reproduced and entered into their bug reporting system with ID: 117065. The fix will be included in one of the future versions. There is no direct workaround though. If you have an educational version of Multisim, you can use the generator coming with NI-ELVISmx drivers - this one works fine. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
