NI recently introduced the NI PCIe-1433, a high-performance image acquisition module for Base-, Medium-, Full- and Extended Full-configuration Camera Link cameras. The module is ideal for machine vision and scientific imaging applications that require high data throughput and specialty line-scan sensors.
The NI PCIe-1433 also supports up to 10-tap, 80-bit images at a pixel clock frequency up to 85 MHz and provides 850 MB/s of available bandwidth over two Camera Link cables. Additionally, the onboard 512 MB FIFO enhances performance for highest-bandwidth use cases. The new module also supports Power over Camera Link (PoCL) to power cameras through PoCL-enabled cables, eliminating the need for additional wires in deployment environments.
You can program the NI PCIe-1433 using the NI Vision Development Module, or configure it using NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI) for faster development and simplified maintenance.
