回應： WLS-9163 Connection Problem Using Infrastructure Mode

Hi all,

I'm trying to connect WLS-9163 by using Infrastructure Mode.

It's very easy to connect WLS-9163 with my computer by cable or ad-hoc, but not by Infrastructure.

I had sent the WLS-9163 to NI office of my location for examination,  they said the connection is O.K.

I have to try many times to make one sucessfull Infrastructure Mode connection.

Since the Infrastructure Mode is connected,  I used Test Pannels to acquire data, and for a while it strangely stoped and an error message showed as following.

Error-50405 occurred at Test Panel

Possible Reason(s):

No transfer is in progress because the transfer was aborted by the client. The operation could not be completed as specified.

I thought it means the connection is aborted. But the access point connection status was very good.

Is it normal to connect in Infrastructure Mode describes above?

Here is the Wireless Configuration :

1. Optain IP Address Through : DHCP

2. Radio On

3. SSID : dlink  (the test wireless AP)

4. Wireless Mode : Infrastructure

5. Authentication Type : WEP

   Key : xxxxxxxx

6. WEP Index : 1

2. 先請教公司MIS無線AP操作方式
3. 請教Dlink AP是否需升級韌體
4. 請先用static IP
5. 請先用桌電+cable+無線AP+WLS-9234.
6. 請確認ipconfig & ping OK

About your first suggestion, why not connect to enterprise network?

I remembered I have seen the documents for Wi-Fi DAQ that describes "connect NI Wi-Fi DAQ device to an existing enterprise network through a
wireless access point".

Please make sure and tell me the way how you setup and connect Wi-Fi DAQ to enterprise network.

If NOT, that will be very hard to use in our application.

This is debug process, not final solution

1)WPA2-PSK的加密也無使用,是否順便處理一下

2)無法連續量測超過30分鐘,無綠無故就自動斷線了

3) 無線AP 確定沒問題,與多台NB 或PDA等等連線,並連續大量傳輸資料均不會有中斷的情形

4)不知道你們的debug process 要到什麼時候才有結論?
