I'm trying to install labview x64 on a windows11 machine (Academic Volume License). I get a message saying 'A package you selected, or one of its dependencies, requires the latest version of Package Manager to continue with installation. Visit ni.com/info and enter the Info Code NIPMUpdate for more information.'
I'm using the offline install though I get the same error with the online install
So I downloaded what I believe is the latest package manager install (NIPackageManager25.0.0_online.exe) only to get a 'Package already installed' message when I run that.
I already have NI multisim installed. That was another saga.
I'd be gateful for any pointers that would help me solve this.
Thanks,
Joe

Looks like you got NIPM set to the most current one, good starting point!
Dumb IT-guy question: have you rebooted after NIPM upgrade? 🙂
can you please check C:\Users\your.user\AppData\Local\National Instruments\NI Package Manager\Logs\errorlogt.txt if there is a more detiled error message?

I didn't reboot though I can do of course.
On the errors.txt file, below are the errors. The one from yesterday is from trying to install using the online installer.
Thanks for the response,
Joe

Did the rebbot help/ change anything?

Well after I rebooted, I was (several hours later) to install just fine. I did not do anything else NI related in the time after the reboot and the sucessful install so likely was the reboot that sorted it.
Sorry for the delayed response, I've been away.
Thanks,
Joe
