Can not access TestStand after debug liscense activated

I activated a Debug Liscense on a computer that had a deployment liscense on it. The activation process reported success.  But can not find how to get into LabView now.  The only thing that shows up under National Instruments/Test Stand 3.1 is the Version Selector and there is no TestStand.exe anywhere on the computer.  I though with the debug liscense you should be able to get to the TestStand environment.  If I go to the liscense manager it shows the development environment as activated.

The debug license provides permission to install the specified software on one additional computer.  This can be used for debugging an existing application on this deployment machine, as long as you have previously purchased a development license for another machine.

Thus, if you have a development copy license, you can install your TestStand development software on the debug license computer.  You must remember to use the debug serial number when it asks for a serial number during the installation.

If you only activated the license on the development CD, but did not install the development software, the TestStand Sequence Editor will not be available on that machine.  With a deployement license, only the TestStand engine was installed.  This would explain why you are not seeing the main TestStand execution file (TestStand.exe).

So in order to solve your problem, you will need to install TestStand and LabVIEW software.  If you have installation CDs for TestStand 3.1, you can use it.  If you do not have a CD for TestStand 3.1, you can download the evaluation version here, and then use your license to activate it.  For LabVIEW 7.1, we do not currently offer a evaluation version download, so you will need to install it from a CD.

If you do not have a LabVIEW 7.1 CD, you can contact the Sales Department at (888) 280-7645.  Explain to them your situation of having a license but needing the CD for installation.

I hope this clears things up for you!
