Can't write to TestExec.ini

Things like the list of recently opened files and files opened last time the UI was run are saved to that file. Thus it is saved every time the UI is run. You might want to save it to the public documents directory (i.e. on Windows 7 somewhere underneath C:\Users\Public\Documents ).

The Default location is C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\TestStand <Version>\Cfg.  Is there a reason why it is not at the default location?

Ok, this sounds like a good idea. I'll try to change config files under public documents directory. Actually i have permission problems with test report saving as well. So i should place config files and report files under public directory.

It might not be necessary and this is only a precaution to prevent my deployment to mess up with other deployments which might be already installed on same computer.

E.g.. Deployments from different suppliers may interfere with each other.

If you are changing config directory of this deployment, the other deployments will still use this other config directory.  Unless you are doing something to temporarily change it then change it back.
