Could NI fix these attachment links?

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to create my own user interface (LabVIEW) and ran into the problem here. Another broken link. Could someone at NI fix the links to the attachements?

Note: I'm actually going through the TestStand II Customization course material from 2003 and following excersize 5-2 I get property object leaks so bad I have it locks up after reporting. Hard to track down where they are coming from as I can't scroll through the TestStand Debug Warning window.

Thanks folks. I digest this and more to see if I can fix this UI.

GovBob -

There have been many improvements to the course material since the 2003 revision. Additionally, I'm not sure what versions of TestStand and LabVIEW the 2003 course was written for. It's likely that it was written for LabVIEW 7.1.1 or earlier, in which case, there have been changes in the behavior of LabVIEW that might be leading to the property object leaks you are seeing.

If you are going through the course, you are most likely using the UI provided by the exercises CD. Would it be possible for you to zip the files up and post them to this thread? I can try to look at the files for you and see if anything in particular jumps out at me.

You may not need to post the source files, perhaps a screenshot of the top level VI would suffice. It's up to you.

Thanks for the offer for support Manooch.Smiley Happy I didn't know if I could legally upload the UI and sequence since it was part of that course work. I'll upload it later in the day as I don't have access to it on this harddrive. Thanks again.
