Displaying report in ReportView control hangs TestStand

I am in the process of replacing an older Windows XP computer on one of our test sets with a Windows 7 machine. The test set uses TestStand 4.0.1 and LabVIEW 8..5. I've resolved almost all issues and all tests run and generate a test report to file. However, when TestStand tries to display the report on completion, it hangs and I have to end the process via Task Manager.

I'm guessing, based what I've read in tutorials that TestStand uses ActiveX via IE to display the reports, that it may have to do with the version of IE on the new computer (IE 11) not being compatible with the older version of TestStand. My thought is to uninstall IE 11 and install IE 6, which is on the old machine. Does this seem like a plausible fix? The computers are not connected to the internet - they're on a closed system - so I'm not worried about security of the old browser.

Thanks,

Mike

You can try the older version of IE and see if that fixes it.  One other option may be to try a different UI.  Try the one made in C# and see if it works.
