Entry point button for Test UUTs is not visible in customized OI when using a specific windows user

Hi,

when I log on a windows XP machine with a particular windows user the ActiveX button for running TestUUTs entry point does not appear after TS engine has loaded.

If I log on with a different user this button appears as expected.

System config:

Windows XP

TestStand 3.1.1 Base Deployment License

Operator Interface written in CVI 7.1

Are there any special authorizations needed on a XP machine? On a windows 2000 system it works perfectly!

Hi Steffen,

Usually there is at least the Test UUT entry point visible, with the SinglePass entry point enabled/disabled via the user priviledges. There shouldn't be any difference between the operating system.

Do you get the same fault if you run with the default CVI OI.

Is it possible to post your users.ini file.

thanks for the quick response!

I also got the fault with the default CVI OI... but then I clicked around a little in station options, models etc. but haven't changed anything knowingly.

But suddenly the Test UUTs button in the CVI OI became visible! And now it also works in my personal OI...
